Interested in holding your next social or corporate event in a unique venue set at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains? The Castle of Joy is the place for you!

The castle is equipped with sleeping accommodations for you and 12 of your staff, colleagues, or group members.

The top floor Royal Suites offer two bedrooms, each with a full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, living room with a cozy fireplace. All top floor rooms have access through the french doors onto the large terrace where the 6 person hot tub lives.

The Dungeon Bunk Room sleeps 8. Camping on the 11 acre castle grounds and Carriage Barn is also an option for larger parties.

Enjoy a beautiful relaxing atmosphere while breathing in the fresh mountain air. We offer a 1000 sq ft Carriage Barn for an indoor outdoor experience. Our newly restored barn has a wall of doors, when opened it overlooks the mountains and Sweetheart Pond. Outdoor evening lighting, seating, and fire pit allows for more time to enjoy and connect with your team or group.

The Dungeon Gallery & Lounge offers a more intimate experience. Enjoy a revolving gallery of fine art, decor, furnishings and seating areas throughout. Complete with two bathrooms and a separate entrance through the moat. 

We understand no two social events are the same, we will work with you to create a customized experience to suit your specific needs.
